Upcoming Yurt Trip.

An announcement to all members going on the yurt trip: Planning meeting(s) will take place soon within December for the yurt trip in December 2014 or January 2015. These meetings are important for all those wanting to attend. Plans will be made for transport and meals. Please make sure you attend meetings in the next few weeks so you know what is going to happen during the trip.

September 2014 - Notch Lake Backpacking Trip

We did a three-mile round-trip backpack up to Notch Lake in the Uintah Mountains. At the trailhead, Bryce and I did some brief Geocaching to kickoff the trip. We setup camp on the shore of the lake in a clearing. Most everybody setup under the tree-cover in a clearing they found close by. Overall, despite the rain, we had a great time!

Hello new and future readers.
As our troops new Webmaster, I felt like taking care of our non-existent blog wasn't enough work for me. I needed the responsibility of an actual existent blog. So, here I am with the first post of our scout troop's blog.
Here, we are going to be creating a portfolio of our adventures. Our campouts, activities, and some meetings. Hopefully my time as webmaster will help our troop collect a larger portfolio for the future webmaster before me. Thank you.
